Wonderful wonderment
Reaction to the element
That is not on the
Periodic table
But without which
Life would not be liveable
Not be bearable
Not be tolerable
The element of which I speak
Is higher than the highest peak
Richer than the darkest teak
Softer than a baby's cheek
So rare in fact
It's easily missed
Obscured by doubt
And virtual decoy
Virtual girl, virtual boy
Elementary knowledge
Superseding all the facts
We learn in college
The newest element
Will lie beside me
Wonderful wonderment
In my arms
